Welcome to Storytempo (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) Who we are

"Storytempo," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operators of the Service. For any legal or support questions, contact us.

2) Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent where you live; if you're in the EU, that age may be up to 16). If you are under 18, you confirm you have parental/guardian consent.

Keep your account information accurate and your credentials confidential. You're responsible for activity under your account.

3) Description of Service

4) Subscriptions, trials & billing

We may offer free tiers, trials, or promotional credits.

Paid plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Fees and applicable taxes will be charged to your payment method.

Prices may change; changes apply in your next billing cycle after notice.

Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable.

5) Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Break the law or infringe others' rights (including privacy and IP).
  • Upload illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive content.
  • Probe or attack our systems, bypass security or rate limits, or scrape at scale.
  • Impersonate or attempt to impersonate Storytempo, a Storytempo employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service.

We may apply usage limits (e.g., rate limits) and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6) Your responsibilities

You are responsible for your content and for ensuring you have all necessary rights to use and share it with us.

Do not upload sensitive personal data unless strictly necessary and lawful.

If your content contains personal data, you confirm you have a legal basis to process it and to share it with us for the purpose of providing the Service.

7) Privacy & data use (summary)

We do not sell user information and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We use your data to operate the Service (e.g., authentication, support, security) and to improve product quality.

We may process aggregated or de-identified usage data to understand performance and reliability.

Details are in our Privacy Policy. If you are in the EU/EEA/UK, we aim to process personal data under appropriate legal bases (e.g., contract, legitimate interests, or consent where required).

For privacy questions or to exercise applicable rights, contact us.

8) Intellectual property & feedback

We (and our licensors) own the Service, including software, UI, and branding.

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a license to use, modify, and display such content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.

If you give us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them.

9) Third-party services

The Service may link to or integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment processors). Their terms and privacy policies govern your use of their services.

10) Beta & experimental features

Some features may be labeled Beta, Preview, or Experimental. They may change, break, or be discontinued and are provided "as is."

11) Availability & changes

We strive for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may modify or discontinue features, or update these Terms. Material changes will be notified in the Service or by email, with the effective date indicated.

12) Termination

You may cancel anytime in your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations, risk, non-payment, or legal reasons. After termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may delete your content after a reasonable period (e.g., 30 days) unless we're legally required to keep it. Export your data before closing your account.

13) Copyright & trademark concerns

If you believe something on the Service infringes your rights, contact us with: (i) your contact info; (ii) a description of the material and where it appears; (iii) why you believe it infringes; and (iv) a statement that your notice is accurate. We may remove material and/or limit access at our discretion.

14) Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

15) Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORYTEMPO AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS; LOSS OF DATA; OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
